Add support for more Betamax (namely Rynga)

Postby saxshroom » 04 Mar 2010, 17:45

I'm dissapointed after paying $10 that I cannot use Rynga for SMS. It is a Betamax like any other, but with cheaper calls. Could you not have a "Generic" option like the App-Store App V-Phone, where users could enter the details of any providers you don't support?

If it's not too much trouble, please at least add Rynga. I like your app a lot. Much more than V-Phone.

Thanks

Hello,

we did not know this service and can not know all the betamax providers as they keep growing! I have just checked and Rynga is compatible of sending sms through Siax. It should not take that long to implement this.

Thanks! I wasn't sure if SIAX was still maintained since there hasn't been an update for a while. Are you guys going to add G.729 too at some point?

Hello,

the problem with that codec is the licensing. We will see what we can do.
